A rotary dryer is a long, slightly inclined cylinder that rotates at a low speed. Wet material is repeatedly lifted and cascaded by internal lifters (flights), coming into full contact with a counter-current or co-current stream of hot air (or flue gas). It gradually dries and moves toward the discharge end, serving as a continuous drying equipment known for large capacity and stable operation.
